Puppy growling?
I have three month old mixed breed that seems to have an attitude. It is a wonderful dog together ... but if you pick it up when you want it or if the children are on his nerves, he growls and sometimes show their teeth and even stifled the kids ... which became a huge problem when her teething adults are in. I corrected him by grabbing the scruff and say NO. His posture is immediately submitted, but it can still help by pushing a bit grumpy calm. I have had dogs all my life but never run a personality quite like this. My feeling is that obviously does not know his place in the squad and feels he has the right to be impertinent. I'm not sure what to do about it.
if he does not want to be taken, I do not blame him. Children can be cruel without meaning to be. The dog also needs to learn his place in the platoon. he must know he is not the leader but the follower. If your children have trouble with your dog it will definitely (because it means you at the end of the package and you need to be the leader). turn it upside down (on his back on the floor) and at least lower your voice an octave and a short, sharp, strong "NO". keep him on his back until he relaxes his body and then leave it in place.
