What I can do exercises to strengthen the lower back?

I'm 6 feet 4 inches tall and fairly muscular. But, as with many of tall people I sometimes have back pain, especially when I run. Can anyone direct me to other sites that provide exercises to strengthen the lower back or anyone know of any exercises I can do to improve my posture and given me relief from this pain?

You must metion if you go to the gym. If you do, then morning, the hardening basic deadlifts, extensions (those to bite), etc. all help. If your home, you can find something heavyish and try the deadlift. it will strengthen your back. do crunches and the hardening of your database takes the stress your back muscles. It works the same way with keeping your abs tight (do it while you run) when your meeting you need to maintain your posture right, a tiny pillow at the base of your back will take some stress of it. If you're not in the gym then you must make a lot of stretching. as said try to raise something light and heavy-ish-ish. yoga. try to make extensions (if you can find someone to keep up) one thing you can do is to do.
