What is a good assumption for the effects of posture on the pulse rate and blood pressure?
Does it also vary between different postures? please please help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pulse rate does vary with posture. A simple experiment you can do to show this is as follows: - Take your pulse in the supine position (five repetitions and take on average). Then sit and after 5 minutes to calm things repeated measures. Then get up and after 5 minutes to calm things repeated measures. You will find that the pulse increases lying to sitting to standing. This is due to using muscles in different positions. Now you know the facts you can make a hypothesis.
