Is it true that sitting in a yoga class (balance) ball to improve posture and strengthen muscles?

I heard it, but I never been confirmed. Thank you =]

Yes, this is true. Keeping balance requires that you use and / or strengthen your core muscles. To make it a little harder than you could do side bends with a dumbbell while on the ball.
