Scoliosis and back braces? Please help!?
I am 17 years so a few months ago I went to my doctor and he I said that a slight scoliosis. My lower back is arched in. He told me it's not so bad and that I will not need a brace because it is my growth spurt and it will probably be corrected by himself, but lately, my back was hurt when I go for walks walking or sitting on chairs in certain ways. I think it's too bad the way I sleep and stand. I do not know what to do. I thought First, the use of these new shoes "Shape-ups, they are stupid looking, but it says they will help your posture. Do these work? Now, I think the use of lumbar supports, but I do not know what they look like and how they work. Did you buy them doctors or you can buy at the store? How will they do? In addition, the work of massage therapy, too? I think it may also because of stress and tension in my back and maybe it'll help. What do you recommend?
Massage is always a good idea in my opinion! : O) Relieving stress is always an advantage. I would also consider seeing a chiropractor ..... ask for references ... they can be very competent and experimented with scoliosis
