Side effects of correct posture?
I had a bad posture for some time, and it is only recently that began to bring me discomfort (pain in neck / back, constipation). I started to make a point yesterday to use good posture all the time, as well as stretching and exercises, but once seated, this posture gives me the head rush like symptoms. Is this normal? Am I just so used to bend the increased blood flow makes me feel this way? Help! It feels more or less like my head is hollow, like a slight headache. Also how long does it take for this to go?
It may well improve your posture making you feel that way. What do you mean by the head of the rush? Some people mistake that feeling of the rush to the head of one of hypoventilating. Sure you breathe well, relaxed. It may be that by trying so hard to improve your posture, you limit your diaphragm and not breathing properly, leaving you with a feeling of lightheadedness. If your symptoms are indeed "head-rush" which is to improve blood flow to the head, he could well because you are improving the blood supply to your head with a collar, and perhaps even increase your intake of oxygen because the lungs are now fully filling (as opposed to being crushed by a bad posture).
