Cat Body Postures

cat body postures
The animals understand human interactions?

If you try to hug or kiss or talk to a dog or cat or a ferret (I:]) or any other animal, they understand what you are trying to do? or are they just thinking like "WTF?" and how they communicate w / animals other than sniffing butts? Does it depend on the size of their brain to understand the meaning of your behaviors? or does it depend on how you do, as eye contact, tone of voice, posture? I showed my friend, my ferret, and she each pet, it seems curious and sniff it much, is it because they have never met? or was it something to do with his body language? that means it recognizes I smell since it does not seem trinkets when I come around unless you have a toy or food?

Yes and no. Some behaviors may result by much of the natural behavior of certain animals, such as petting (touching, fondling is for us, but may be similar to grooming behavior for cats, for example). Some behaviors are more on tone and context of the Act on the real (eg, shouting at the dog does not mean that you can understand, but they "understand" the volume has increased and, of course, answer that question as a fight or flight kind of thing). Some pets may be able to follow gaze or pointing (which is not a natural feature for many animals). Communication is not the same as the language. Much animals communicate in different ways. Auditory, visual, chemical, and other means of communication are common. This does not mean they have a language in all directions, however. It is similar to the way, if your home is important and other grunts in frustration, so you do not even think that this means you automatically get a sense of implied meaning behind this grunt. That's how it is for animals ... they do not conscious experience of communication, they just have a hunch "implicit" of it. relative brain size is not as important to knowledge that the number of convolutions of the brain (at least in mammals) and for such purposes, domestication is much more important. These animals were high to be more compatible with humans, and some of which have been inadvertently in reproductive behavior could be described as "sensitivity" of human behavior, broadly defined. Now, just because animals are not furry people does not mean they are automatically hairy automated machines. The animals need to perceive the world around them and process this information, and internal motivations (note, the reasoning does not necessarily mean "I want to do that!", But can be a hard inexplicably implied, which is the case with animals) behavior can begin to try to find information on certain things. Your ferret may be to respond in an appropriate way of cash on a new stimulus or something that " wants to know more about "(Do not get bogged down in anthropomorphism here), or it may be answered in a way it would be appropriate species Perhaps another ferret grooming it. Ultimately, to summarize ... No, your ferret does not consciously know that you love. It should not strictly have consciousness experience it all. But it has social behaviors that can emulate affection, and there are effects of habituation and training to be a better animal company. So love your ferret and do everything you did. I included a website you should check the comparative cognition of society, a society of researchers interested in studying animal behavior and cognition. There are listings of research has been done to investigate on cognition in the domestic animal breeds and how this compares to wild forms of these animals.
